Nedap MACE is a platform that allows any access control system to use smartphones as access credentials. The platform consists of a cloud based service, readers and apps. MACE apps can receive and contain multiple virtual identity credentials. These credentials are presented to MACE readers using NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy or QR. Virtual identity credentials are sent to the phone in a secured way from the MACE Server. The MACE Server accepts imports from 3rd party access control systems.

MACE SMART

The MACE Smart is a slim mobile access control reader. It supports Bluetooth, NFC and smartcards. This elegant reader enables using smartphones in any access control system, while continuing to support existing credentials that contain smartcard technology.

This multi-technology reader is configurable using a free downloadable tool. With this tool, settings like the read range and output can be specified.

MACE READER MM QR

Nedap MACE is a platform that allows people identification with the use of smartphones. It can be used with any access control system. The platform consists of a cloud based server, readers and apps.

The MACE reader MM QR is a multi-technology reader to be used with MACE apps with MACE identifiers. Supports Bluetooth, NFC, QR codes, smart cards andproximity cards. The reader is small enough to be mullion mounted. The MACE Reader MM is configurable using a free downloadable tool that connects to the USB port. Read range and output can be specified. 

In addition to the MACE Reader MM, this reader includes a QR reader that enables reading QR-codes displayed on a smartphone.

MACE READER MM

MACE ADMIN PORTAL

The MACE Admin Portal is the graphical interface of the cloud based MACE platform. It is available at any time and from anywhere by authorized people. The admin portal makes it easy to customize virtual cards and to enroll, revoke and even reuse virtual credentials. It operates with any third party access control or parking management system. 

Admin portal features:

The MACE Admin Portal contains advanced features, such as:

  • Easy enrolment of virtual credentials to users

  • Revocation and reuse of virtual credentials

  • Customization of virtual cards per Company Space: card name, logo and color

  • Detailed status reporting of the assigned credentials

  • Logging of important actions that are made within the admin portal

MACE APP

Nedap MACE is a platform that allows any access control system to use smartphones as access credentials. The platform consists of a cloud based service, readers and apps. MACE apps can receive and contain multiple virtual identity credentials. These credentials are presented to MACE readersusing NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy or QR. The MACE Seve raccepts imports from 3rd party access control systems.

With the MACE app, users are provided with accessvia a variety of virtual access credentials. Via the app, communication technologies like Bluetooth Low Energy,NFC and optionally QR replace the need of physical access credentials.

MACE IDENTITY CREDENTIAL

Nedap MACE is a platform that allows people identification with the use of smartphones. It can be used with any access control system. The platform consists of a cloud based server, readers and apps.

Virtual identity credentials can be allocated to users in Nedap XS format, Wiegand 26 format or any other format. These credentials are safely sent to the smartphones by the cloud based MACE server. Numbers can be reused when needed.

MACE CARD

The MACE Card is featured with smartcard technology (13.56 MHz). It ensures the use of one card for high secure people identification using the MACE platform. It is designed for situations that demand the highest levels of security, for both parking and building access control. Physical MACE MIFARE Cards can be combined with Virtual MACE credentials using the existing MACE reader infrastructure. The card can be printed and personalized on request. 

Available custom programmed and preprogrammed Wiegand 26.

uPASS Access

uPASS Access is a very small UHF reader that fits on doorposts, has an attractive modern design and reads access badges at a distance of up to 2 meter (6 feet). This reader supports reading battery less UHF cards that follow the EPC Gen 2 standard. Standard UHF cards in ISO format are available, but also specific combi cards. These combi cards combine UHF with conventional card technology from HID, Legic, MIFARE, Nedap, Sony or EM.

TRANSIT Entry

If a guaranteed read range of approximately four meters is required, Nedap advices to use TRANSIT Entry, a microwave based reader (2,45 GHz). With this reader Nedap compact tags, that contain a battery, are used for a longer read range. The reader can be equipped with a so called MTR Module which will enable proximity reading of common smart cards and proximity cards.
