MSO 300 Series

Capturing high quality fingerprint images for multiple applications

The MSO 300 Series is a family of robust, high-quality optical sensors that capture and process fingerprints with excellent image quality. It is designed to cope with fingerprint registration of the young, old, and manual laborers. With an internal database capable of handling 5,000 users, the MSO 300 Series is ideal for a wide range of applications: population enrollment, border control, access control to sensitive IT systems, in-store or online payments.

 

Along with class-leading image acquisition certified to FBI PIV IQS* and STQC** standards, each device provides biometric template coding and matching thanks to its embedded FIPS 201*** and MINEX**** compliant algorithms. As options, the range also offers an enhanced, patented optronic fake finger detection function (Common Criteria certified), a smartcard reader and security features to protect users’ data.

 

The MSO 300 Series can easily be integrated into various applications thanks to the MSO SDK, available for Windows, Linux and Android platforms.

MSO 1300 Series

Personal identification is essential for a wide range of desktop applications from access to workstations to cashless payment, etc. The MSO 1300 Series draws on IDEMIA’s patented optical technology and fingerprint algorithms – recognized worldwide for their high levels of performance and exceptional robustness – to enhance client security with the power of biometrics.

 

These compact USB sensors offer a reliable, ergonomic and cost-effective solution for enrollment, identity verification and user identification. Their match-on-device (up to 1:10,000 users) or match-on-card (for variants equipped with a smartcard reader) functions, enhanced with extensive security features, guarantee the faultless protection of information.

 

The most advanced models in the series deliver a fingerprint image that is certified by the FBI (PIV IQS*) and the STQC**, and detect a large panel of counterfeit fingerprints. Micro-USB connection is also available for smartphone applications.

 

The MSO SDK enables a swift integration into Windows, Linux and Android platforms.

Morpho MSO 1350

MorphoSmart MSO 1350 features embedded high optical technology and Idemia’s last algorithms.

A high performance device, the MSO 1350 has a large enrolment surface which allows acquisition of high quality fingerprints. The MorphoSmart 1350 can be used for easy enrolment with MorphoAccess biometric readers. The MSO 1350 is also embedded with fake finger detection and several certifications from international institutions.
